1.30. Guide: Saving a Kurzweil 3000 document as PDF

There are a few ways to save Kurzweil 3000 content as a PDF, and it's a bit different depending on the platform you're using.
Using kurzweil3000.com through your web browser:
kurzweil3000.com limits the content that can be converted to PDF in a document to 50 pages. If your document is more than 50 pages long and you want all of the document, you may need to go through these steps several times to get PDFs covering the whole document.
- Open your document in kurzweil3000.com
- Go to the page of the document you would like to have at the start of your PDF. This will save up to 50 pages from this starting page to the PDF.
- Go up to the 'View' menu > Select 'PDF' under 'Download Format' dropdown
- Your PDF will generate and a download will begin
Using Kurzweil 3000 Windows:
Windows 10 has a built in PDF printer called 'Microsoft Print to PDF'. Kurzweil 3000 will use this device to generate the PDF.
- Open your document in Kurzweil 3000 Windows
- Go to File > Print
- Set the 'Microsoft Print to PDF' as your print device
- Set any other desired print options (e.g. Page Range)
- Choose Print
- You will be prompted to give the PDF a name and save location
Using Kurzweil 3000 Mac:
Mac OS has a built in 'Save As PDF' option. Kurzweil 3000 will use this function generate the PDF.
- Open your document in Kurzweil 3000 Mac
- Go to File > Print
- Set any desired print options (e.g. Page Range)
- In the lower left corner of the Print window, choose 'PDF' > 'Save As PDF'
- You will be prompted to give the PDF a name and save location
