3.2. Guide: How to migrate Kurzweil 3000 Network to another server

Applies to Versions: Kurzweil 3000 (Win) Network v10 and higher.

Note 1: You need your USB License Key for these steps. If it is missing or empty (0 installs left), please contact Customer Service for a replacement. If you are outside the USA, please contact your reseller.

Note 2: If your new server is a Virtual Server, the install process is will most likely have to be done in a special way because the virtual machine is not tied to a real USB Port. Please view the Installation Information for a virtual server article.

Note 3: If you would like to preserve the "Users" folders from your previous Kurzweil server which kept user settings etc. Please view the How to locate the Kurzweil Network "Users" Data Folders on the server article.
