FAQs

How do I run reports?

You need to log into kurzweil3000.com with the Top Level Coordinator (TLC) account for the subscription. From there, you click on My Account > Reports.

If you do not have access to the TLC account, contact your site administrator or whoever is leading your implementation. You can find out who that is by clicking on the My Account page.

Can teacher or Sub-Level-Coordinator (SLC) accounts run reports?

Teacher accounts have the ability to run reports, and have access to the Reports page just like the TLC account. However, reports run by teachers may not show student usage data due to privacy concerns. If you are a teacher and want to know the usage of your students, please contact your TLC (see above) and have him/her run a report for you.

Reports show results for Logins, Files Accessed and Time on Site. What does each metric include?

Logins  This counts the occurrences of logins to the installed Kurzweil 3000 (K3000) Win/Mac app and kurzweil3000.com website. If the Read the Web (RtW) extension does a login for a user, then that login is counted too.

Files Accessed  This counts any/all files opened by either the installed K3000 Win/Mac app or the kurzweil3000.com website. So for the installed app, counting ‘any file opened’ applies to the Universal Library, Google Drive, local files, etc.

Time on Site  This counts all time spent logged into the installed K3000 Win/Mac app and time-on-site logged in for kurzweil3000.com. If RtW extension does a login, then that time spent logged into the extension is counted too.
