4.16. HP OfficeJet 8720 Troubleshooting

Applies to: Kurzweil 3000 and Kurzweil 1000
Problem:
The HP OfficeJet 8720 scanner may not scan properly within Kurzweil 3000 (K3000) or Kurzweil 1000 (K1000).
Solution:
Check to make sure you have the latest drivers installed for the scanner model from the manufacturer and that the scanner functions and scans outside of K3000/K1000 with its native software (e.g. the HP Scan app).
Next, within K3000/K1000 initialize driver in the attached pictured.
In K3000 to do this, go to Scan > Scanner Setup > Select Scanner > select the driver HP OfficeJet 8720 (Net) (WIA)
In K1000 to do this, go to Settings > Scanning > Scanner Source > select the driver HP OfficeJet 8720 (Net) (WIA) > then go to Settings > Save Settings as default
