4.18. Brother DCP L2540DW Troubleshooting

Combination: Kurzweil 1000 v14.15 + Windows 10 + Brother DCP L2540DW

Problem:

The device is not scanning properly.

Solution:

1. Exit Kurzweil.

2. Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Kurzweil Educational Systems\Diags\ScanConf.exe

3. Within Scanner Configuration, set the following:

Select the TW-Brother DCP-L2540DW (TWAIN) driver

Hold Scanner: Never
Native Scan: Off
Simulate Xfer Ready: Always On

Click OK.

4. Within Kurzweil, initialize that driver and attempt to scan.
