1.54. "Error 1606. Could not access network location \KESI." during install

Problem:

"Error 1606. Could not access network location \KESI." is received during install of Kurzweil 3000 (K3000) on a Windows computer.

Reason:

The K3000 installer is attempting to install a KESI folder and some files to the public document location on your computer. If the public documents folder was removed or user permissions changed from the Windows default, you may encounter the above problem.

Solution: 

Verify that the following folder paths exist on your computer. If the Public\Documents or Public\Public Documents folder does not exist on your computer, then create those folders.

C:\Users\Public\Documents

C:\Users\Public\Public Documents

Edit the Properties of the Public folder, and give the Everyone and Users group Full Control.
