3.3. General Information: How to import a list of students from a .txt file

Applies to Versions: Kurzweil 3000 (Win) Network

Issue Summary:

We have a large Kurzweil user-base implementation. Is there a way to create a .txt file of user-names and import it into Kurzweil?

Technical Steps:

For Kurzweil 3000 Network:

1. Launch the K3000 Network Administrator

2. In the Administrator window, click Users -> Add New...

3. In the Add New User window, click File... and browse to a .txt file list of the student list you want to import.

The text file needs to be in a simple format of (alpha characters only):

studentname
studentname
studentname

There are no commas or any other special characters needed.
