1.34. Error: 1310 during installation (AcaTTS.dll and Webroot SecureAnywhere)
Issue:
During the install or launch of Kurzweil, Kurzweil may display error 1310, similar to below:
Solution:
In the example above, the security software Webroot SecureAnywhere was blocking this file. If you have another security software where this is happening, the steps would be similar. You may want to contact support for your particular security software if you need assistance with adding an exception. Simply disabling the security software may not disable the particular function that blocks these types of files so exceptions must be made.
Example for adding an exception for Webroot:
1. Open Webroot SecureAnywhere, and click the 'gear tool' next to PC Security.
2. Click the Quarantine tab.
3. Check to see if the file being blocked is listed here. If so, select it and click Restore at the bottom right.
4. Next, click the Block/Allow files tab.
5. If the file is marked as blocked, change that to Allow.
6. If the file is not listed, click the Add File button, navigate to the hard drive location where it is installed, select it, and set it for allow.
