4.21. HP ScanJet Pro 3000 s3 Troubleshooting

Combination: HP ScanJet Pro 3000 s3 + Windows 10 + Kurzweil 1000 v14.14

Problem:

The device is not scanning properly.

Solution:

1. Exit Kurzweil.

2. Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Kurzweil Educational Systems\Diags\ScanConf.exe

3. Within Scanner Configuration, set the following:

Select the HP ScanJet Pro 3000 s3 driver

Hold Scanner: Never
Native Scan: On
Canceling Scan: Slow Cancel
Simulate Xfer Ready: Always On

Click OK.

4. Within Kurzweil, initialize that driver and attempt to scan.
